My love of character design and interest in fashion inspired me to create these one-of-a-kind figures. I individually sculpted, painted, wigged and costumed each one by hand and adorned them in fine fabrics, semi precious gems and computer parts.
Athena Ex Machina
Athena Ex Machina is part of an ongoing body of work that questions intelligence and technology blurring the borders between human potential and the omnipotent. It tells the tale of a young machine/woman who dwells in a metropolitan city of the future.
This unique work was sculpted and sewn entirely by hand using traditional techniques.
Oil and enamel painted polymer clay resin, blown glass eyes, goat hair, silk, Swarovski crystals, printed circuit board, mounted on Apple Mac Mini 19.5 x 9 x 6.5 inches
I began my career as a fashion illustrator and found expression in creating these characters. Each one of my paper dolls is a unique design and illustration.

Mackenzie in Grand Central
Grand Central Station is a great place for photography. Mackenzie and I spent a day there.
